Terms:
Blackercatering is insured with $1 million liability against property damage and is fully certified in food safety. Chef Heidi must be informed of any food allergies when finalizing the menu. Surcharges may apply for substitutions or special requests after the menu proposal has been prepared.

Caterer will arrive approximately 2 hours prior to the event. Before arrival, counters should be cleared off, dishwasher empty of dishes as well as oven cleaned and emptied.
Chef Heidi will provide chafing dishes and serving utensils for the buffet and have the food served at agreed upon times. Caterer and staff will leave after kitchen is cleaned and dishwasher started.

The Caterer hereby reserves the right to make comparable adjustments to the menu if certain ingredients are not available due to reasons that are beyond the Caterer's control.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
The Caterer will not be held liable for any loss that results from not fulfilling any terms or conditions of this Catering Contract. If the Caterer is prevented or delayed from fulfilling in part or whole this Catering Contract due to war, riot, strike, and flood or by any other act or condition that is not within the Caterers control and which could not be prevented, the Caterer will not be held liable but any monies paid by client would be returned minus $100/hour of any time spent in consultations and site visits. If the Caterer gets a communicable illness, her staff will be fully trained and equipped to cater the event as discussed with the client. If the catered event is cancelled by the Client with less than a 90-day notice, then the Caterer will keep the deposit as she has turned down other work to book this date (30% of the total estimated charges for the cancelled event). If canceling the event with more than a 90-day notice, the Caterer keeps half of the deposit. If rebooking a future date with the Client, the Caterer will decide how much of the deposit can be applied toward the future date.\


PAYMENT:
Once the final menu is decided, a 30% non-refundable deposit will be required to book the date. Final head count and balance is due 10 days in advance. Payment is due in full to book the date if booked with less than 10 days. Changes cannot be made with less than 10 days’ notice.
